CRDP Acting President, Mr. George Nohra, distributed certificates of acknowledgement and appreciation to the Head of the Sociology and Economics Department at CRDP, Mr. Wael Kazan, in recognition for his efforts for launching interactive Power Point lessons for Economics on a voluntary basis. The President also offered the volunteer teachers certificates in appreciation of their response to this initiative, and for their contributions to its success; wishing everyone everlasting success with further efforts and endeavors in the interest of education in Lebanon.
The Head of the Sociology and Economics Department at CRDP launched this voluntary initiative on October 11, 2020, for preparing interactive Power Point lessons for Economics in various languages (Arabic, French, and English). These included situations that motivate learners, interactive content, and practice exercises for each learning objective. It is worthwhile mentioning that 43 tenured and contracted teachers, from all regions in Lebanon (from Akkar to Bint Jbeil), both from the public and the private sector, responded to this volunteer initiative.  The aim was to support all Economics Lebanese teachers and learners at the secondary stage in the blended education track.
The work in the Arabic language was completed on November 24, 2020 as 14 lessons for the First Secondary, 12 lessons for the Second Secondary, and 14 lessons for Third Secondary- the Sociology and Economics branch - were prepared. Hence, a total of 40 lessons, in addition to organizational charts, mental maps and linking concepts were made ready.
